This policy covers how OpenFeint treats personal information that it collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable such as your name, address, email address, or device UUID and that is not otherwise publicly available.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that OpenFeint does not own or control or to people that OpenFeint does not employ or manage.
OpenFeint may collect personal information when you register with OpenFeint. When you register we will ask you to create a user id and may ask for information such as your email address, Twitter® credentials, Facebook® credentials, and friends on the OpenFeint network. When you register with OpenFeint and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. A registered user has the capability to search for another OpenFeint registered user on Twitter® or Facebook®. We do not store the search information. We collect information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of services that we offer. We use information to fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under the age of 13 may provide any personal information. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 we will delete that information as quickly as possible. OpenFeint does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
